About BOSS

BOSS was started in 2003 with the idea of bringing the knowledge and skills honed over a decade in the corporate world to the small business sector.  Heather, BOSS's founder, worked in Canada, the US and the UK in both Finance and IT and knew that small businesses could benefit from the best practices in these areas, even if they did not know what they were.  Heather's director-level corporate knowledge brings commercial and financial savvy to all her clients, either in structured monthly director meetings or with ad hoc queries.

Atif, the second partner in the firm, brings all the skills in Accountancy that small businesses need.  Setting up accounting systems, tax returns, annual accounts and all other aspects of accounting are his domain.  He has a team of bookkeepers and payroll managers that help with the day to day running of our client's finances.

Heather co-authored “A Zest for Business” which was launched at The British Library in 2007 at their Business & IP Centre, where she also gives talks about managing your business finances.

BOSS also organises an annual Christmas party for all its small business clients so that everyone can have a huge party together instead of lots of small ones on their own!
